Events of the Month
Last month our wine feature was the Annual Summer Wine Tasting. There were 32 wines featured at this well received event. The proceeds from the admission went to benefit KEDM.
The KEDM volunteers were a great help and a number of them provided dishes made from recipes found in the KEDM cookbook, Variations and Improvisations. We wish to thank all who helped make this event a big success.
For those of you who have not pledged support to KEDM, please contact Patrick and he will be happy to take your pledge.
This month we will feature a class on German/Austrian wines. No, they are not all sweet. Yes, they make reds. Come to the class and find out about the varietals and stylings available from this part of the Wonderful World of Wine.
Once again this year we will be offering the wine class twice a month! Look for classes on the Third Thursday of the month through Tonore’s Wine Cellar.
