From Our Family to Yours
Thanks to all who have supported Tonore's Wine Cellar in the past. Your business is truly appreciated. Please support small local businesses throughout the city. The money you spend at local shops stays in the community. The majority of money spent at larger national chain stores goes out of our community. Help Monroe prosper by buying local.
We have received a shipment of cheeses. Some of your past favorites like Gouda, Havarti, Parmigiano Reggiano, Brie and several cheddars are available along with new cheese stylings like Parmigiano Reggiano Bites, Brie Bites, Asiago with Rosemary, Reserve Gold, Merlot Bellavitano and Espresso cheese. Try a Prosciutto and Mozzarella roll for an appetizer. There are also Abruzzese and Calabrese sausages for you to try. Our food shelves have begun to fill up also. We have just received a shipment of foods from our east coast supplier.
It is time to think about the special days in the month of February.
The Krew of Janus Mardi Gras parade will roll along on Saturday February 11th. Tonore’s is very close to the review stand and is a great place to spend the day and view the parade.
Valentine’s Day is Tuesday February 14th. Celebrate with a bottle of Champagne or other sparkling wine. How about a gift basket with a bottle of bubbly and chocolates? If you are looking for a special Scotch, Bourbon, wine or anything else to help celebrate the day just give us a few days to find out if we can get it for you.
Wine Class this month is on February 16th. Make sure to call Patrick and let him know if you are coming - 325-4100.
Presidents Day is February 20th. Pick up a bottle of the types of wine that the founding fathers would have had in their cellars. Remember that California did not exist at that time, much less the State’s wine industry. Think France, Italy and Germany.
Please let us know what we can get for you. We don’t always succeed in finding your special items but we always try to find them.

We are available for in-home wine tastings or for your own special tastings---but not in December. What will it be? Wine, beer, single malts, top shelf bourbons, liqueurs, cheese or anything else you can think of! Prices will vary with the event.
And remember----Tonore's is still your party supply headquarters. Just give us a call and we can set you up with everything you need for parties from 10 to 10,000 people.
