Events of the Month
There are no special events scheduled for the month of August. If you would like to do a group class or wine tasting just let me know and we can work out the details.
Our Summer Wine Tasting was well attended. About 144 people attended on a day that faced some stiff competition from other events. The Gridiron Show was held on that night as well as a special event at the Masur Museum and a wine tasting at Bayou DeSiard Country Club.
Thanks to all who came and enjoyed themselves at Tonore�s Summer Wine Tasting. We are honored that you choose our event to attend over the other great events of the night.
Our next scheduled event is a Wine Class through ULM on September 6th. The class will be held at Tonore�s Wine Cellar. The topic will be Wines of France. The Tonore�s Oktoberfest will be held on September 27th. Put it on your calendar now. As usual we will have some great German food, German beer and German music. We will have more details in the September newsletter.

The ever growing pressures of business competition in the wine trade are a factor in deciding to open on Sundays at Tonore�s. The fact that another day is added to our schedule has necessitated a change in store hours.
Our hours are now:

| Friday | 10:00 to 7:00 |

The store will be open till 8:00pm on the monthly event days. Our hours will expand again in November and December for your Holiday shopping.
We realize that there are times when your schedule will not fit with our hours. Service has always been the driving force at Tonore�s and we are happy to arrange other hours to suit your schedule by appointment. Your business and happiness are VERY important to us.
We have CENTRAL GROCERY OLIVE MIX in stock. The smaller bottles of FIJI WATER are also in stock. Ginger Beer and Pelegrino water are back in stock.
We have had requests for organic products and have started to incorporate them into our stock. Potato chips, beer, wine and other organic items are now on our shelves.
Visit our new cheese cooler and pick up a cheese that you have never tried before---Gjost, Fol Epi, Glouster, Darby Sage, Apple Smoked Cheddar, Cyder, Horseradish Parsley, Maytag Blue, Stilton, Roquefort, Rotola, Baby Swiss and many more are now in stock. We have over 60 cheeses in our selection.
Let us know what kind of special cheeses you are seeking. I will put them on our next cheese order.
We also have a new assortment of Volpi Sausages including Pinot Grigio Salami, Chianti Salami, Sopressa and Pancetta.

We are available for in-home wine tastings or for your own special tastings. What will it be? Wine, beer, single malts, top shelf bourbons, liqueurs, cheese or anything else you can think of! Prices will vary with the event.
